Dr. Johanna Sonnenburg (née Schlaack) is a freelance consultant, author, speaker and coach. She researches and teaches as an associate at the Center for Metropolitan Studies at the Technical University of Berlin.

 

Studied architecture in Berlin and Edinburgh. 2013 PhD in Germany and the USA on the topic of airports as catalysts for the development of urban regions. 2009 Founded the urban policy think tank "Think Berl!n". Taught as a visiting professor at the Technical University of Berlin and the Leibniz University of Hanover. Member of the board of the Association of Architects and Engineers in Berlin-Brandenburg, the advisory board of the Hermann Henselmann Foundation and the steering committee of the initiative StadtNeudenken. Since 2018, project manager for strategic site development for Tempelhof Airport. 2020 Certified training as a systemic coach (life & business)
